The Charitable Endowments Act, 1890
Section 1. Title, extent and commencement.
(1) This Act may be called the Charitable Endowments Act, 1890.
(2) It extends to the whole of India, 1***, 2***; and
(3) It shall come into force on the first day of October, 1890.
