The Central Provinces Tenancy Act, 1898
Section 29. Conflict between rights of superior and inferior landlord.
Where land is sublet and any conflict arises under sections 24 to 28 (both inclusive) between the rights of a superior and of an inferior landlord, the right of the superior landlord shall prevail.
