The Central Provinces Tenancy Act, 1898
Section 6. Time for payment of rents.
Rent shall be payable in such instalments and on such dates as the Local Government may, by notification in the local official Gazette, prescribe, and, in the absence of any such notification applicable to the case, according to the contract between the parties, or, where there is no such contract, according to local usage.
