The Central Provinces Tenancy Act, 1898
Section 67. Rent of ordinary tenant regulated by agreement.
An ordinary tenant shall, subject to the provisions of sections 13, 14, 15,16, 63, 66 and 78, pay such rent as may, from time to time, be fixed by agreement between him and his landlord.
