Section 24. Penalty for failure to comply with directions of Central Government.
1[24. Penalty for failure to comply with directions of Central Government.---If any person fails to comply, without reasonable cause, with any of the directions given by the Central Government or nominated authority or the designated custodian in the exercise of its powers provided in this Act or as may be prescribed, he shall be liable to penalty which may extend to one lakh rupees and in the case of continuing failure with penalty which may extend to two lakh rupees for everyday during which the failure continues.]
