Section 24A. Adjudication of penalties.
1[24A. Adjudication of penalties.––For the purpose of adjudication of penalties under sub-section (2) of section 23 and section 24, the Central Government shall appoint the nominated authority to be the adjudication authority for holding an inquiry and imposing penalties in such form and manner as may be prescribed:
Provided that no such penalty shall be imposed without giving the person concerned a reasonable opportunity of being heard.]
