The Banaras Hindu University Act, 1915
Section 8. Powers and duties of officers, terms of office and filling of casual vacancies.
Subject to the provisions of this Act, the powers and duties of 1[the other officers of the University] the term for which they shall hold office, and the filling up of casual vacancies in such offices, shall be provided for by the Statutes.
