THE JAMMU AND KASHMIR SELF-RELIANT COOPERATIVES ACT, 1999

Section 40. Deployment of funds.

(1) The funds mobilized by a cooperative shall be primarily for the furtherance of its objectives. (2) Such of its funds as are not needed for use in its business, a cooperative may invest or deposit, outside its business, in any non-speculative manner.
