THE JAMMU AND KASHMIR SCHOOL EDUC ATION ACT, 2002

Section 15. Permission for starting new classes and their recognition.

Every private school shall have to seek the prior permission of the competent authority before adding any higher classes. Any higher classes so added in a school shall require recognition by the Government. The Government shall, by notification in the 1[Official Gazette], prescribe the procedure for the grant of such permission and recognition.
