Section 22A. 22-A
1[22-A. Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act or the Statutes made thereunder where the Chancellor is of the opinion that it is in the interest of the University necessary to do so, he may, after consulting Pro-Chancellor, appoint any eminent and qualified scholar as Professor or as Reader in the University on contract basis for such period and on such terms and conditions as he may determine.]
