THE PROBATE AND ADMINISTRATION ACT, 1977 (1920 A.D.)
Section 150. Probate and administration, in case Hindu, Mohammedan or Buddhist, to be granted only under this Act.
No proceedings to obtain probate of a will, or letters of administration to the estate, of any Hindu, Mohammadan or Buddhist shall be instituted in any Court in the 1[Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir] except under this Act.
