The Maharashtra Agricultural Lands (Ceiling on Holdings) Act, 1961.

Section 40. Summary eviction.

Any person, unauthorisedly occupying or wrongfully in possession of, any land- (a) which vests in the State Government under this Act, or (b) to the use and occupation of which he is not entitled under the provisions of this Act, may be summarily evicted by the Collector after such inquiry as he deems fit.
