The Bombay Non-Agriculturists’ Loans Act, 1928.
Section 3. Purpose for which loans may be granted.
Subject to such rules as may be made under section 6, loans may be granted under this Act 1[for erecting, rebuilding or repairing houses, for building or repairing boats] or for the relief of distress to any person to whom a loan under the 2[Agriculturists' Loans Act, 1884 (XII of 1884),] cannot be granted.
