The Maharashtra Regulation of Marriage Bureaus and Registration of Marriages Act, 1998
Section 16. Registrar to furnish duplicate copy of the registration certificate to the Registrar General.
When the Registrar registers a marriage under this Act, he shall immediately thereupon send a duplicate copy of the registration certificate, to the Registrar General.
