The Maharashtra Civil Courts Act
Section 3. Alteration and creation of districts.
The 1[ 2[State] Government] may from time to time, by a notification in the 3[Official Gazette], alter 4[the limits of existing zillas] (which shall hereafter be called districts) and create new districts for the purposes of this Act.
