The Meghalaya Preventive Detention Act, 1995, Act No. 5 of 1995
Section 1. Short title, extent and commencement
(1) This Act may be called the Meghalaya Preventive Detention Act, 1995.
(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Meghalaya.
(3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 6th October, 1994.
