The Meghalaya State Housing Board Act, 1986, Act No. 7 of 1986.
Section 8. Filling up of vacancies
In the event of any vacancy occurring in the membership of the Board, the vacancy shall be filled up, as soon as may be , by appointment of a new member who shall hold office for the unexpired term of his predecessor.
