Section 13. Imposition of penalty on the tenant.
If any tenant intentionally furnishes false information under the Act he or she shall be punished under Section 176 and 177 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860: Provided that any foreigner, IS residing without valid document shall be punishable under section 14 of the Act, 1946.
