The Meghalaya Civil Task Force Act, Act No.1 of 1974
Section 9. Bar to prosecution
No prosecution shall be instituted against any member of the Force in respect of anything done or purported to be done by him in the discharge of his duties, except with the previous sanction of the Government or any officer empowered by the Government in this behalf.
