The Meghalaya Wild Animals And Birds Protection Act, 1971 Act No.9 Of 1971
Section 4. Domesticated and other animals and birds in captivity exempted.
Nothing in this Act shall apply to domesticated or other animals or birds which are lawfully captured and kept in captivity.
