The Mizoram Lok Ayukta Bill, 2014 Whereas after the passage of the Lok Pal and Lok Ayukta Act, 2013 (Act No. 1 of 2014) by the Parliament and by virtue of section 63 of the said Act, the State government is under obligation to establish a body to be known as Lok Ayukta within one year from the date of commencement of the Act and the Government of India has notified 16.1.2014 as the effective date for implementation of the Lok Pal and Lok Ayukta Act, 2013;
