Section 15. Research Council

There shall be a Research Council consisting of the following, namely: Research Council 1.the Vice-ChancellorEx-officio Chairman 2.the Directors of Agriculture/Horticulture/Fisheries Department of the Government and Chief Conservator of Forests, Rajasthan (depending upon research mandate and programmes of the University )Member 3.all Directors of the UniversityMember 4.all Deans of the FacultiesMember 5.all Zonal Directors, Research and ExtensionMember 6.all University Heads of DepartmentsMember 7.two scientists of eminence from outside to be nominated for particular meeting by the Vice- Chancellor for their specialized knowledge of subjects on the agenda of meetingsMember 8.the Research Council may co-opt as members not more than Member four persons for such period and in such manner as may be prescribed as to secure adequate representation of different sectors of agriculture and allied fieldsMember 9.the Director ResearchSecretary
