Section 200. Municipal control over drains etc

- (1) All sewers, drains, privies, water closets, house-gullies and cess-pools within the Municipality shall be under the survey and control of the Municipality. (2) All covered sewers and drains and all cess-pools, whether public or private, shall be provided by the Municipality or other person to whom they severally belong with proper traps or other coverings or means of ventilation, and the Municipality may by written notice call upon the owner of any such covered sewers, drains or cess-pools to make provision accordingly.
