Section 74. Inventory and map of immovable municipal property

- (1) The Municipality shall maintain an inventory and a map of all immovable properties which vest in or belong to or are acquired by it. The copies of updated inventories and maps shall be deposited in the office of the Director of Local Bodies by each Municipality within one year from the commencement of this Act. (2) The Chief Municipal Officer shall in case of the inventory of an immovable property, prepare an annual statement indicating the changes, if any, in the said inventory and shall place the same before the Municipality and also send a copy thereof to the Director of Local Bodies.
