Section 69. Registration of instruments

Where the Indian Registration Act, 1908 or any rule made thereunder, requires or permits any act to be done with reference to a document by a person executing or claiming under the same, and the document has been executed on behalf of a Board or is a document under which a Board claims, the act may, notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in the aforesaid enactment or in any rule thereunder, be done by the Chairman, or by any other officer of the Board empowered by regulation in this behalf.
