29. Power of Council to call for information from institutions etc.— (1) The Council shall have power to call upon the governing body or authority of any recognised institution referred to in clause (5) of section 24— (a) to furnish reports, returns or other information as the Council may require to enable it to judge of the efficiency of the institution or training given therein; and (b) to provide facilities to enable any member of the Council (deputed by the Council in this behalf to be present at the examinations to be held by any-such institution. (2) The Council shah have power to inspect any such institution and may for the purpose appoint a sub-committee of not less than three or more than five members of the Council to inspect the same and submit a report in regard thereto to the Council.
