Section 9. Registrar and staff
9. Registrar and staff. — (1) The Council shall appoint a Registrar and may appoint other officers and servants as it may consider necessary on such salary and other Conditions of service as it may determine and every person so appointed shall be deemed to be a public servant within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, I860 (Central Act 45 of I860). (2) The Registrar shall act as Secretary to the Council and shall perform such other duties as are assigned to him by this Act or the rules or regulations made thereunder or as may be specially assigned to him by an order of the Council.
