Section 24. VESTING OF LAND AND TIGHTS OF GRANTEE

Notwithstanding anything contained in this act or any other law for the time being in force but subject to the provisions of section 26 of this Act, the land granted under this Act shall stand vested in the State Government with effect from the date of commencement of the Rajasthan Bhoodan Yagna (Amendement) Act, 2008 (Act No. 20 of 2008) or from the date of grant whichever is later, and the grantee of such land shall become a khatedar tenant thereof with effect from the said date and shall be entitled to all the rights conferred and be subject to all the liabilities imposed, on a khatedar tenant under the provision of the Rajasthan Tenancy Act, 1955 (Act No. 3 of 1955)
