The Scheduled Tribes and others Traditional Forest Dwellers Recognition of Forest Right Act 2006
Section 1. Short title and commencement:
(1) This Act may be called the Scheduled Tribes and other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, 2006. (2) In extends to the whole of India except the State of Jammu and Kashmir. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
