The Telangana Nurses, Midwives, Auxiliary Nurse-midwives and Health Visitors Act, 1926.
Section 2. Definitions.
In this Act unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context,-
(a) “Council” means the 1[2[Telangana] Nurses, Midwives, Auxiliary Nurse-midwives and Health Visitors Council] established under this Act;
(b) 3[XXX]
(c) 'Nurse' includes a male nurse;
(d) 'Prescribed' means 'prescribed by rules or bye-laws made under this Act';
(e) 'Register' means 'a register' maintained under section 5 3[XXX] and 'registered' means registered in accordance with the provisions of 1[that section.]
