Section 37. Power to make rules.
(1) The Governing Council is empowered to make any and all rules governing recruitment / promotions / retirements / pay and allowances of employees of the Institute.
(2) The appointments and promotions of teaching faculty shall be governed by norms prescribed by Medical Council of India for such posts.
(3) The Governing Council shall seek prior approval of the State Government for implementation of the rules so prepared.
