Section 22. Powers of the Board

The Board while performing its functions under this Act, shall have the powers of a civil court trying a suit in respect of the following matters (a) summoning and enforcing the attendance of any person and examining him on oath; (b) requiring the discovery and production of any document; (c) receiving evidence on affidavit; (d) requisitioning any public record or copy thereof; (e) issuing commissions for inspection of premises and examination of witness and documents; (f) such other matters as may be prescribed.
