UTTAR PRADESH SLUM AREAS (IMPROVEMENT AND CLEARANCE) ACT, 1962

Section 33. Jurisdiction of courts

33. (1) No court inferior to that of a magistrate of the first class shall try an offence punishable under this Act. (2) No prosecution for any offence punishable under this Act shall be instituted except with the previous sanction of the Competent Authority or an officer authorized by it in this behalf.
