Section 140A. Restriction of new section 140-A

1[140-A. No expenditure from the 2[Corporation] fund shall be incurred without the prior sanction in writing of the Director for the purpose of defraying the costs of any proceedings instituted or commenced in any court of law by or on behalf of any 2[Municipal Corporation] or the 3[Mayor] or any authority thereof in respect of any order made or purporting to have been made by the State Government under section 83, section 84 section 534, section 535, 5section 537 or section 538 .]
