THE UTTAR PRADESH SUGAR UNDERTAKINGS (ACQUISITION) ACT, 1971
Section 10. Prescribed Authority
The State Government shall, by notification in the Gazette, appoint an officer and below the rank of a Commissioner or a District Judge to perform the functions of the prescribed authority under this Act, and different prescribed authorities may be appointed in respect of different scheduled undertakings.
