Section 72G. Transitory provisions on the change of names of University of Gorakhpur and University of Rohilkhand

1[ With effect from the date of the commencement of the Uttar Pradesh State Universities (Second Amendment) Act, 1997 any reference to the University of Gorakhpur and the University of Rohilkhand in this Act, or any rules, Statutes, Ordinances statutory instruments, or any other law for the time being in force or in any documents or proceedings shall be construed as a reference to Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur and Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly respectively.]
