Section 16. General Council
16. The University shall have a General Council, constituted of:-
(i) The Chief Minister of Uttar PradeshChairperson
(ii) The Minister of Home, Government of Uttar Pradesh Member
(iii) The Minister of Law, Government of Uttar PradeshMember
(iv) The Minister of Higher Education, Government of Uttar PradeshMember
(v) Advocate General of Uttar PradeshMember
(vi) The Chief Secretary of Uttar PradeshMember
(vii) The Principal Secretary of JudicialDepartment, Government of Uttar Pradesh Member
(viii) The Additional Chief Secretary/ Principal Secretary, Finance Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh. Member
(ix) The Additional Chief Secretary/ Principal Secretary, Home
