THE U.P. PRADESHIK ARMED CONSTABULARY ACT, 1948

Section 3. Constitution of P.A.C.

3. There shall be raised and maintained by the 3[State Government] a force to be called the 1[Pradeshik Armed Constabulary] and it shall be constituted in one or more companies in such manner and for such period as may be prescribed.
