The Uttar Pradesh Special Area Development Authorities Act, 1986
Section 3. Declaration of Special Development area
If the State Government is of opinion that any area of special importance In the State needs to be developed in a planned manner, it may, by notification, declare such area to be a special development area for the purposes of this Act.
