THE UTTER PRADESH WATER MANAGEMENT AND REGULATORY COMMISSION ACT, 2014
Section 13. General policies of the commission
(1) The Commission shall work within the framework of the State Water policy;
(2) The Commission shall advise the State Government to promote sound water conservation and management practices throughout the State in accordance with State Water Policy through the implementing agencies in the State;
(3) The Commission shall support and aid the enhancement and preservation of water quality within the State in close co-ordination with the relevant State agencies.
