Section 57. Transfer of proceedings by Collector
57. The Collector may, subject to rules framed by the [State Government] transfer any proceedings under this Act which are pending in his court to the court of an Assistant Collector of the first class empowered under section 54 and may withdraw any proceedings so transferred.
