THE INTERMEDIATE EDUCATION ACT, 1921
Section 8. Exemption of certain Universities from the operation of the Act
Nothing in the Act shall affect the constitution, powers or functions of the Banaras Hindu University 1[or the Aligarh Muslim University] except with their consent recorded in writing.
