Section 12. Non judicial disposal of minor offences of the gazetted officers
When a gazetted officer5[***] is charged with an offence punishable under section 9, the 1[Director General], may, without formal trial, reprimand or severely reprimand such officer or may refer the matter to the 1[State Government] for orders.
