THE UNITED PROVINCES INDUSTRIAL DISPUTE ACT, 1947

Section 4C. Disqualifications for the Presiding Officer of Labour Court or Tribunal.

4-C. No person shall be appointed to, or continue in, the office of the Presiding Officer of a Labour Court or Tribunal, if - (i) he is not an independent person ; or (ii) he has attained the age of 65 years.
