Ask the assistant about a photo or a document
How to attach a photo, a scanned page or a document to a question, what file types work, and what to keep out of it.

Sometimes the question is about a paper in front of you: an order you were handed, a defect memo, a page from a bundle. You can attach it to your question instead of retyping it.
How to attach
In the assistant, tap the + button and choose Camera, Photos or Document, then type your question, for example "what does this order direct?" You can attach up to 3 files to one question.
What works
| Kind | Types | Largest |
|---|---|---|
| Photo | JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC | 5 MB |
| Document | PDF, Word (.docx), plain text, Markdown, CSV | 10 MB |
Excel files are not supported yet. A password-protected or damaged PDF or Word file will be refused with a message. The app checks what a file really is, not just its name.
Good questions to ask
- "Summarise this order in five lines and list the directions."
- "What dates are mentioned in this document?"
- "Is anything in this memo unclear or missing?"
Care to take
- Do not attach anything confidential or any client's personal details while the product is in testing.
- Read the answer against the original document. A blurry photo can be misread.
- The assistant helps you read and research. It does not give legal advice.
Attached files are not kept forever: each upload shows when it will expire. See the privacy policy for how files and questions are handled.
