Alerts for your tracked cases
How to choose which events on your tracked cases reach you, on which channel and when.
By LawyerInsight team · Published 2026-10-28 · 1 min read
Alerts tell you when something happens on a matter you track, so you do not have to check by hand.
Set them up
- Track a case from Add a Case (see tracking a case).
- Open Alert settings in the account menu. Choose which events on your tracked cases reach you, on which channel, and when.
- In the mobile app, allow notifications when asked. The Permissions screen in Account shows whether they are on.
Good to know
- LawyerInsight reads the Court's public records, so an alert follows the official upload; it does not come before it.
- Confirm against the official source before you act on an alert.
- You can change or switch off alerts at any time. See the privacy policy for how contact details are used.
